Terms of Service

antevel is a research-intelligence tool. It aggregates publicly available upstream research signals - funded grants, registered clinical trials, preprints, datasets, and the latest publications - links them through open metadata, filters them by a topic you define, and presents the result as a dashboard and alerts.

antevel surfaces signals from third-party public sources for informational and research purposes only. It is not medical, clinical, scientific, financial, legal, or investment advice and must not be relied upon to make clinical or treatment decisions. Always verify any signal against its original source before acting on it.

The Service draws on public sources and APIs, including OpenAlex, ClinicalTrials.gov, ISRCTN, the EU Clinical Trials Information System (EU CTIS), NIH RePORTER, UKRI Gateway to Research, ANR (data.anr.fr), OpenAIRE, bioRxiv, medRxiv, arXiv, Europe PMC, NCBI GEO, BioProject, Zenodo, and PubMed. We only use sources whose terms permit this use.

The underlying data is created and owned by those sources and their contributors, and remains subject to their own terms and licenses. We provide it on an as-is basis and do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate, current, or free of errors. Signals may be delayed, revised, or withdrawn at the source.

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of the age of majority in your jurisdiction. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

You agree not to:

• resell, redistribute, or create a competing data feed from the Service;
• scrape, bulk-export, or circumvent rate limits or access controls;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• use the Service for unlawful purposes or in breach of any third-party source terms.

antevel offers a free plan and paid plans with different limits. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. We may change prices with reasonable notice for future periods.

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as our merchant of record and is the seller of record for your purchase. Invoices, taxes, refunds, any right of withdrawal, and payment disputes are handled by Creem in accordance with its buyer terms and applicable consumer law. Contact us first for any billing question; unresolved issues can be raised with Creem through its customer portal.

The antevel software, interface, branding, and the way signals are aggregated, linked, and presented are owned by us. The underlying public data remains the property of its respective owners. Content you create (such as your topics) remains yours; you grant us the limited right to process it to operate the Service.

We aim to keep the Service available but provide it on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee on current plans. We may add, change, or remove features, or suspend the Service for maintenance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for any decision made in reliance on the data surfaced by the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You may ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing antevel.api@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others, the sources, or us.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by French law, and any dispute will be subject to the competent French courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
